Instrument Usage
The YN-IBTF microcomputer interlayer adhesion strength Tester determines the internal adhesion strength of various paper and cardboard materials according to TAPPI T569 and ISO 16260 methods. The instrument design is based on a falling pendulum that creates a high-velocity impact on the paper sample, sandwiching it between two substrates of double-coated tape. Pendulum impact measures the total amount of energy required to split the internal fibers of the sample into two layers in the Z-shaped direction. It is used to test the interlayer peel strength test of industrial paper such as electrical insulating cardboard, bobbin paper, gray cardboard, etc., and is suitable for paper mills, scientific research institutions and quality inspection departments.
Operating Principle
The working principle of the interlayer bonding Tester: the combination of double-sided tape-specimen-double-sided tape forms a sandwich structure, which is pressed between a metal anvil and an aluminum block, and hits the inner surface of the upper part of the aluminum block with a pendulum, which flips the aluminum block and destroys the specimen in the Z direction. The energy absorbed during the destruction of the specimen is calculated by determining the position of the swing, expressed in J/m2.
