MODERNER STM-VII Digital Stormer Viscometer Compliant with BROOKFIELD Standard Picture

The new STM-VII digital Stormer viscometer is suitable for determining the KU viscosity of coatings, paints and related products. The instrument is digitally displayed, no weights are required, and the LCD screen simultaneously displays the KU value, gm value and reference mPa.s value (or cP value), simplifying the test procedure.

ASTM D562 Standard Test Method: Determination of KU Viscosity of Coatings Using a Stormer Viscometer

GB/T 9269 "Determination of viscosity of coatings -- Stormer viscometer method"

Operating Principle

The principle is to immerse an offset paddle in a test sample and express the viscosity of the sample, i.e., the gm viscosity, by using the load value at 200 rpm (corresponding to the weight mass of a mechanical Stormer viscometer). The gm value is usually converted to the KU value (Krebs Unit) to express the viscosity of the sample.

The instrument has an RS-232 serial printing interface, which can print and display results online. The mPa.s value (or cP value) is converted from ASTM D562 standard and is for reference only. 1cP=1mPa.s. Considering the different habits of users at home and abroad, the instrument provides 1 500mL sample cup randomly. The STM-VII is available in English.

FAQ
QIs the price listed on the website the final cost for overseas purchases?
ANo, it isn't. This is the ex-factory price of the product in the Chinese Mainland. In addition to this price, buyers from different countries need to account for additional costs such as shipping fees, tariffs, and others. For specific regional quotes, please consult our customer service or fill out a quotation form.
QWhat is the specific process for purchasing the product?
