This instrument adopts DPD photometry, which replaces the traditional visual colorimetric method with the principle of photoelectric colorimetric detection. Human error is eliminated and it has a high measurement resolution. When chloride ions in the water react with the DPD reagent, the water sample will turn pink. The water sample is then placed into the photoelectric custoire of the instrument, and the instrument compares the shades of the color to obtain the concentration value of the corresponding ion. It can be widely used in waterworks, industrial and mining enterprises, domestic (CN) or industrial water inspection departments, etc., in order to control the ion concentration in the water to meet the specified water quality standards. This instrument conforms to the determination method of disinfectant index of the national standard "GBT 5750.11-2006 Standard Test Method for Drinking Water".
