The Dutch TQC VF1000 hardness testing pencil is a hardness testing pencil specially designed for use with a pencil Hardness Tester. It contains 20 pencils with different hardness values, including: 8B, 7B, 6B, 5B, 4B, 3B, 2B, B, HB, F , H, 2H, 3H, 4H, 5H, 6H, 7H, 8H, 9H, 10H test pens with 20 hardness values.
Product testing principles
Use a pencil to test the hardness of coating scratches. In the pencil hardness test, use a set of pens with different hardness levels at an angle of 45 degrees to the surface of the object, and use a constant force of 7.5N to scratch the surface of the object. It is then optically assessed for damage.
