YN-GM Gloss Meter is used to measure the gloss of paper, ink and printed matter. 75° gloss is mainly suitable for coated paper and some uncoated paper; 20° gloss is mainly suitable for high gloss surface such as cast coated paper, wax paper, glazing paper, high gloss ink paint; 60° gloss is mainly suitable for Used in various papers, inks, printed ink products, coatings, paints, etc.
Principle: Use a photoelectric Detector to measure the light that is incident on the surface of the sample at a certain angle (20°, 60°, 75°) from the normal, and reflected from the surface of the sample to the normal at a corresponding angle to the specified aperture. The results are displayed on the instrument.
The instrument adopts optical, mechanical, electrical integration and microcomputer measurement and control technology, has the function of statistical processing of test data, can print out, and can measure the glossiness of various object surfaces.
The instrument has a variety of incident and reflection measurement angles (75°, 20°, 60°/45°);
Polished black glass was used as gloss standard. A black glass material with a refractive index of 1.567 and a desirable smooth surface, with a glossiness of 100 (gloss units)
With range extension technology, the instrument can measure the glossiness of any surface (from zero gloss to mirror surface).
The instrument has a power-off memory function and can automatically print a test report. Computer memory zero adjustment, sample number, statistical calculation, digital display and can print report measurement value, average value and statistical value results.
