Introduction

The Defelsko PosiTector mainframe is compatible with any PosiTector probe, including 6000 Coating Thickness Measurement, RTR Roughness, 200 Ultrasonic Coating Thickness Measurement, DPM Dew Point Testing, SPG Surface Profile, IRT Infrared Temperature Measurement, SST Soluble Salt Testing, and more. QI want to measure the coating thickness on the steel structure, what Probe should I choose?
A It is recommended that you choose the F series Probe, such as the F or FS model. Because the steel structure belongs to the ferrous metal substrate, F Probe is specially designed for steel surface coating measurement. The range of 0-1500 μm covers the range of common industrial coatings. High measurement accuracy and automatic identification of substrates.
QI need to test the coating of Aluminum Panel and steel plate at the same time, how to choose the most convenient?
A It is recommended to directly choose the FN series Probe, such as FNS or FNRS. This Probe can automatically identify black/non-ferrous metal substrates without manual switching. You only need to touch the Probe surface during measurement, and the instrument will automatically determine whether it is aluminum or steel. It is especially suitable for production sites with mixed materials.
QWhy can't the Defelsko Coating thickness gauge be charged?
A Hello, there are two solutions: 1. It is equipped with 3 ordinary AA batteries, please open it and replace it; 2. It can also be connected to a computer for direct use, but it cannot be charged (powered by a USB cable).
