Product Details:

Gurley air permeability meter is a standard test method for porosity, air permeability, and air resistance of a variety of materials, which can be applied to quality control and research and development in the production of papermaking, textiles, non-woven fabrics, plastic films, etc.

At a steady pressure, determine the time it takes for a certain volume of gas (25-300cc) to flow through a specific area of the specimen. The air pressure is provided by a cylinder with a specific diameter and standard weight, which slides freely inside an outer cylinder filled with seal oil, and the specimen to be tested is sandwiched between a standard gasket with a small hole in the center of the gasket to allow gas to flow through, and the aperture is 1.0, 0.25 or 0.1 Sqinch. There are two types of readings: direct and indirect.

Instrument Introduction

Model 4110 is a commonly used device for measuring air permeability. Smaller bore joints and gaskets can be used to effectively measure low-permeability materials, and 5-ounce inner cylinders can be used to measure high-permeability materials. Standard Model 4110 Air Permeability Meter with a 20 oz. built-in cylinder and 1.0 Schinch round bore lower clamp pad and upper connector. The inner cylinder starts with two moving intervals of 25cc, then both 50cc, for a total of 300cc. On the new type of permeability, the specimen is fixed and clamped by rotating the handle to lift the lower platform and condense the upper and lower plates. The automatic counter and base can be ordered at the same time as the vent floor or separately.
