Brief description of equipment

KSM-2A open type sand mill is a small test equipment, suitable for chemical industry laboratories such as coatings and dyes, and can be used for dispersion tests on various mixed materials such as paints, inks, dyes, coatings, magnetic tape coatings, etc. The linear speed of the sanding leaf disk of this sand mill can reach 10.5 m/s. The high-speed rotating sand grinding leaf disk promotes violent tumbling of the material in the barrel, and produces strong impact and shear with the grinding medium, destroying the aggregated objects. , to achieve the purpose of rapid dispersion and uniform mixing. This machine can provide basic data for large-scale production, and provide technological basis for trial production of new products or improvement of product quality.

The sand mill is randomly equipped with a 2-liter stainless steel jacket barrel, and cooling water can pass through the interlayer. The barrel has a discharge port with a filter, and the discharge plug is made of polytetrafluoroethylene material, which is durable. The upper cover of the cylinder is split type, which is convenient to open and close.

operating procedures

1. Before use, the cylinder body should be cleaned with solvent, and the discharge plug should be closed tightly. .

2. Raise the motor to the highest position, put the cylinder into the base, align it with the center of the sanding shaft, push the support rods on both sides tightly to clamp the cylinder.

3. Lower the motor to the required height and lock the handle. The barrel is connected to cooling water.

4. First pour the grinding medium (such as glass beads) into the barrel, and then pour the material. Give the sanding shaft a spin by hand and drive away. If you find that the shaft shakes after driving, you should stop immediately (check for abnormalities).

5. Press the start button of the inverter, adjust the speed and slowly increase the speed to a suitable speed.

Precautions

1. When there is no material in the barrel, do not drive the machine empty, so as not to damage the sanding shaft.

2. Please check whether there are foreign objects in the barrel before driving.

3. Adjust the support rods on both sides to ensure that the sanding shaft is in the center of the barrel.

4. The cooling water should be guaranteed to be unblocked, and it is better to add a regulating valve to control the cooling water volume.

5. Clean the barrel, discharge plug and other parts with solvent when it is out of use.

6. When not in use for a long time, anti-rust oil should be applied to the column and other parts.

7. This machine is used for the test process of chemical raw materials. Users should establish appropriate safety and health protection measures and determine rules and regulations according to relevant safety regulations before use.
