Microcomputer tearing Tester
Scope of application
Film, sheet, soft polyvinyl chloride, polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC), waterproofing membrane, woven material, polyolefin, polyester, paper, cardboard, textiles and non-woven fabrics and other wrappers with a tear degree of less than 16000mN and a low quantitative paperboard tear strength test within the scope of the instrument.
Test principle
The energy expended to tear the specimen by the pendulum is measured. Measure the potential energy converted into kinetic energy when the pendulum is drawn, tear the clamped paper, and calculate the tearing force required to tear the paper with the energy consumed during the tearing process.
