The SHG wet Film Thickness Gauge is a thickness measurement tool during the construction of various coatings such as paints and varnishes. Values ââare expressed in micrometers (μm). SHG Thickness Gauges are available in a variety of ranges to meet the needs of different industries.
| model | Thickness Gauge range (μm) | Difference per tooth (μm) |
| SHG-100 | 0~100 | 10 |
| SHG-200 | 0~200 | 20 |
| SHG-275 | 50~275 | 25 |
| SHG-700 | 250~700 | 50 |
| SHG-750 | 300~750 | 50 |
Measurement methods:
Immediately after the application of various coatings, place the toothed measuring surface of the wet Film Thickness Gauge firmly and vertically on the flat workpiece coating surface, and then remove it. Observe the tooth end with the largest value in contact with the wet film surface. The tooth scale value is the wet film thickness value. Measure twice in the same way at different positions to obtain representative results within a certain range.
Maintenance:
After use, clean the wet Film Thickness Gauge, wipe it dry, and place it in a box cover. If the tooth end is damaged or worn, it should be corrected or updated in time.
