Cylindrical bending tester is a special instrument used to test the bending performance of paint film. It is mainly composed of 12 shaft rods with different diameters. Both ends of the shaft rods are equipped with diameter marks, which is convenient for users to identify and operate. The shaft rods are all precision-machined from high-hardness stainless steel to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the test.
Cylindrical bender is designed in accordance with GB/T 6742, ISO 1519 and ASTM D522 standards, and is used to evaluate the cracking resistance and/or detachment from metal or plastic of coatings of paints, varnishes or related products when they are bent around the axis of a cylinder under standard conditions Substrate peeling properties.
There are two different test methods:
First, as a "go/no-go" test, i.e. with a shaft of specified diameter, to assess whether the coating meets specific requirements
Second, test with shafts sequentially to determine the maximum shaft diameter at which the coating will crack and/or peel off the substrate
Humanized design, simple and elegant appearance
Convenient and fast operation, easy replacement of the test shaft
The newly designed clamping device and the clamping of the test plate are more convenient
There are diameter marks on both ends of the shaft for easy identification
The shaft rods are all precision-machined by high-hardness stainless steel materials, and there are 12 shaft rods with different diameters: Φ2mm, Φ3mm, Φ4mm, Φ5mm, Φ6mm, Φ8mm, Φ10mm, Φ12mm, Φ16mm, Φ20mm, Φ25mm, Φ32mm
Appropriate test plate size: the length is 120mm ~ 150mm; the width is less than 70mm; the thickness is less than 1.0mm (when using a shaft rod below 10mm for bending, the thickness of the test plate is required to be no more than 0.5mm)
