It is designed and manufactured in accordance with GB 4851 (Pressure-sensitive adhesive tape stickiness test method) and plaster adhesion test method standards. It is suitable for pressure-sensitive adhesive tape, self-adhesive, plaster, hot melt and other products to conduct stickiness test tests.
Hang the test plate with the adhesive sample attached vertically on the test frame, and hang a weight of specified weight at the lower end. Use the displacement of the sample to detach after a certain period of time, or the time for the sample to completely detach to characterize the adhesion test. The ability to resist pull-off. ASTM D3654 Test Method for Shear Adhesion of Pressure Sensitive Tapes
1. After removing the outermost 3 to 5 circles of adhesive tape from the adhesive tape test roll, unwrap the sample roll at a speed of about 300 mm/min (the isolation layer of the sheet sample is also removed at the same speed). Every 200mm or so, cut a sample 25mm wide and 100mm long from the middle of the adhesive tape. Unless otherwise specified, the number of specimens in each group shall not be less than three;
2. Use a wiping material dipped in cleaning agent to scrub the test board and loading board, then dry them carefully with clean gauze, and repeat cleaning three times. and above until the working surface of the board is clean upon visual inspection. After cleaning, do not touch the working surface of the board with your hands or other objects;
3. Under the conditions of temperature 23℃ ± 2℃ and relative humidity 65% ââ± 5%, according to the dimensions specified in Figure 2, stick the sample parallel to the longitudinal direction of the plate in the middle of the adjacent test plate and loading plate. Use a pressure roller to roll on the sample at a speed of approximately 300 mm/min. Note that when rolling, only the force generated by the mass of the roller can be applied to the sample. The number of rolling times can be specified according to the specific product conditions. If there is no stipulation, then it will be rolled back and forth three times;
4. After the sample is pasted on the board, it should be placed for 20 minutes at a temperature of 23℃ ± 2℃ and a relative humidity of 65% ± 5%. Then fix the test plate vertically on the test frame of the instrument and gently connect the loading plate and weight with pins.
5. Place the instrument horizontally, turn on the power switch, heating switch, and fan switch in sequence, and press the raised part on the timer to clear the time. The instrument automatically turns on according to the preset temperature until the temperature in the test chamber reaches the set value;ã
6. After the specified time is reached, remove the heavy objects. Use a magnifying glass with a graduation to measure the displacement of the sample when it slides down, accurate to 0.1mm; or record the time when the sample falls off the test plate. If the time is greater than or equal to 1h, the unit is min, and if it is less than 1h, the unit is s.
