Powdered detergent apparent density Tester, volume weighing method density Tester is suitable for free-flowing powder. When using a suitable funnel, it is also suitable for powder with a tendency to agglomerate. If the powder contains agglomerates , then this equipment is suitable only when the agglomerate is easy to loosen and does not cause the particles of the powder to break.
The apparent density of powder can be evaluated by the mass of powder occupying a certain volume or the volume occupied by powder of a certain mass. In both forms, the process of transferring the copper from the original container to the measuring container is included. Due to the fragility of the product, its fluidity or agglomeration, changes in the geometric shape of its particles, and the inevitable compression caused by pouring into the measuring container during measurement, the measured appearance of hard materials is generally different from that of the product Density in the original container or packaging. Therefore, the measured result is only a customary value related to the method used.
Under specified conditions, the sample is dropped from a funnel with a specified shape, and after filling a receiving container with a known volume, the mass of the powder is measured.
The apparent density meter meets the measurement requirements of GB/T 13173-2009 "Test Methods for Surfactants and Detergents" (given volume weighing method). But it meets the ISIO1064:1974 standard and is used to measure the apparent density of surfactants or laundry detergents.
1. The entire funnel is made of stainless steel to ensure that the surface in contact with the powder is smooth and does not allow the generation of static electricity.
2. When measuring free-flowing powder, the lower diameter of the funnel is 40mm, the upper diameter is 108mm, and the height is 130mm.
3. Receptor volume: 500ML±0.5ML, sampling volume: 510-550ML
4. The bracket can position the funnel and the receiver accordingly.
5. The outlet of the funnel is equipped with a cut-off plate/baffle to facilitate the placement of powder.
1. Place the funnel on the stand and place the weighed container on the lower floor.
2. Cover the lower opening of the funnel with a cut-off plate, pour the sample into the funnel to its upper edge, and then quickly remove the cut-off plate, allowing the powder in the funnel to flow into the collector and overflow completely.
3. Use a stainless steel ruler to carefully scrape the powder along the upper edge of the receiver, and then weigh m2. The balance is accurate to 0.01g.
4. Calculate the apparent density of the powder according to the calculation formula density = (M2-M1)/V
