XIONGFA XF-13173 Surfactant apparent density (pb) Tester for clumping tendency powders Picture

Powdered detergent apparent density Tester, volumetric weighing method density Tester is suitable for free-flowing powder. When using an appropriate funnel, this Tester works even if the powder has a tendency to clump. However, if there are agglomerates in the powder, this equipment is only suitable if these agglomerates are easily loosened and do not cause particle breakage.

The apparent density of a powder can be used to estimate the mass of powder occupying a certain volume and the volume occupied by a certain mass of powder. In both cases, a process of transferring the powder from the original container to the measuring container is involved. The measured apparent density is due to the fragility of the product, different flow or agglomeration properties, and the fact that the particle geometry changes during the measurement process, plus the unavoidable compression caused by pouring into the measuring container. Often has a different density than the product in its original container or packaging. Therefore, the test results obtained are only typical values for a specific method.

principle

Under specified conditions, the sample is dropped from a funnel with a specified shape, and after filling a receiving container with a known volume, the mass of the powder is measured.

The apparent density meter meets the measurement requirements of GB/T 13173-2009 "Test Methods for Surfactants and Detergents" (given volume weighing method). But it meets the ISIO1064:1974 standard and is used to measure the apparent density of surfactants or laundry detergents.

skills requirement

1. The entire funnel is made of stainless steel to ensure that the surface in contact with the powder is smooth and does not allow the generation of static electricity.

2. When measuring powder with a tendency to agglomerate, the lower diameter of the funnel is 60mm, the upper diameter is 112mm, and the height is 100mm.

3. Receptor volume: 500ML±0.5ML, sampling volume: 510-550ML

4. The bracket can position the funnel and the receiver accordingly.

5. The outlet of the funnel is equipped with a cut-off plate/baffle to facilitate the placement of powder.

Test steps

1. Place the funnel on the stand and place the weighed container on the lower floor.

2. Cover the lower opening of the funnel with a cut-off plate, pour the sample into the funnel to its upper edge, and then quickly remove the cut-off plate, allowing the powder in the funnel to flow into the collector and overflow completely.

3. Use a stainless steel ruler to carefully scrape the powder along the upper edge of the receiver, and then weigh m2. The balance is accurate to 0.01g.

4. Calculate the apparent density of the powder according to the calculation formula density = (M2-M1)/V

FAQ
QIs the price listed on the website the final cost for overseas purchases?
ANo, it isn't. This is the ex-factory price of the product in the Chinese Mainland. In addition to this price, buyers from different countries need to account for additional costs such as shipping fees, tariffs, and others. For specific regional quotes, please consult our customer service or fill out a quotation form.
QWhat is the specific process for purchasing the product?
AFirst, please click on the quotation form on the website and fill in detailed information. Our customer service personnel will then send you a quotation based on your specific country and region, confirming payment and delivery methods. Following this, we proceed with contract signing, payment, and shipment. You can then await delivery.
QWhat should I do if the instrument I purchase needs repair?
AAfter-sales repair for overseas instruments is an unavoidable issue. Our repair terms stipulate that the sender is responsible for the shipping and insurance costs incurred for the repair. Repairs within the warranty period are free, while repair costs beyond the warranty period are determined based on the actual situation.
