HANNA HI96816 Glucose Degree Refractometer Picture

Introduction

The HI96816 Glucose Refractometer Analyzer is rugged, lightweight, and waterproof, suitable for laboratory or field measurements. The measurement basis of the potential ethanol content curve of HI96816 is the European Community Commission No. 2677/90 Wine Analysis Method Regulations, which is expressed by a formula such as: Potential alcohol content (%V/V) = g/L sugar/16.83.

Five wine analysis instruments

Hanna offers five types of wine refractometers to meet a variety of requirements throughout the wine industry. The HI96811, HI96812, HI96813, HI96814 and HI96816 digital wine refractometers are rugged, lightweight, and waterproof for laboratory or field measurements.

refractive index

These optical instruments use the measurement of refractive index to determine parameters relevant to the wine industry. The actual measurement of the refractive index is simple and fast and provides vintners with a standard and acceptable method of analyzing sugar content. Samples are measured after simple user calibration using deionized or distilled water. Within seconds, the instrument measures the refractive index of the grapes. These digital refractometers eliminate the uncertainties associated with mechanical refractometers and are a reliable choice for fast, reliable measurements.
