High-precision analytical measurement
Turbidity refers to the scattering of light caused by tiny particles in water; the greater the turbidity, the greater the number of particles in the water; because even in very pure liquids, the liquid molecules will scatter light to a certain extent.
HI88703 uses an EPA-specific customized light source. The microprocessor calculates the turbidity value through the light intensity reaching the photoDetector; it effectively corrects color interference and has chromaticity compensation and automatic light source compensation functions to avoid interference caused by light source fluctuations. No need for frequent calibration. The lowest detection limit for turbidity is determined by the concentration of stray light; stray light is scattering not caused by suspended particles. The optical path design of HI88703 effectively reduces stray light, allowing the instrument to ensure excellent accuracy, precision, and reliability in low turbidity measurements.
