Introduction

The in-situ double shear meter is a special instrument used to detect the shear strength of building masonry. The instrument is a small hydraulic device, through the piston rising to push the cover plate to produce force on the block to detect the shear strength of the masonry, so that the upper and lower two surfaces of the block are sheared, by measuring the force when the block is sheared, the shear strength of the masonry is calculated, the test results are intuitive, and the detection part is partially damaged.

Features

1. The instrument has novel structure, small size, light weight and easy operation.

2. The manual pump loading cylinder is adopted, which is simple and convenient to operate and has strong interchangeability.

3. Digital display pressure gauge, which can directly read the shear force.

Operating Principle

Press the hand pump pressure handle, the hydraulic oil communicates with the digital pressure gauge through the oil pipe, and the other way enters the double shear instrument to push the piston up, and the piston pushes the cover plate to exert thrust on the block. With the increase of the thrust of the block, the upper and lower sides of the block are sheared, and the oil pressure is rapidly reduced back to zero, and the piston returns to position under the action of spring force. The digital pressure gauge records the pressure value at this time, and the shear strength of the masonry can be calculated by calculation.

FAQ
QOur construction site needs to test the shear strength of the masonry wall, what instrument should be used?
A KS-75 in-situ double shear instrument is specially used to detect the shear strength of building masonry. It uses a hydraulic device to push the cover plate to apply thrust to the block, which can directly measure the shear force and calculate the shear strength. It is small in size, easy to operate, and the digital pressure gauge reads directly, making it very suitable for on-site use.
QWhere is this double scissor mainly used?
A KS-75 in-situ double shear instrument is often used in scenes such as building mass inspection, masonry structure safety assessment, and strength inspection before renovation of existing buildings. Because it can be tested directly on masonry, the results are intuitive and reliable, and it is especially suitable for on-site inspection of the shear performance of masonry walls, columns and other components to help judge structural safety.
