Test principle

The powder granular material is dropped from a certain height through a funnel on a horizontal metal plate to form a cone, and the cone is measuredThe angle between the cone and the bottom surface can be obtained. The angle of repose can also be calculated from the diameter and height of the resulting cone. stopThe angle of repose is one of the physical parameters that express the dynamic characteristics of the powder, and is an important basis for the design of dust removal equipment and conveying equipmentThe size can reflect the fluidity of the powder, and the smaller the angle of repose, the better the fluidity of the powder.

Procedure

  1. Assemble the parts of the measuring device on the test bench so that the device is horizontal, and toggle the protractor to make it in a vertical position.

  2. Fill the powder into a 100ml measuring cup, plug the funnel flow outlet with a stopper stick, and slowly pour all the powder in the measuring cup into the funnel.

  3. Pull out the plug rod so that the powder flows out of the funnel hole; For the powder with poor fluidity, the powder can be continuously dropped to the horizontal powder tray through the funnel by tapping the funnel or using a rod needle to form a cone.

  4. After all the dust flows out, the rotary protractor measures the angle between the powder cone bus and the horizontal plane and records it.

  5. The measurement was carried out 3 times in a row, and the arithmetic mean was obtained as the measurement result.
