Electrode preservation and cleaning solutions are special solutions for the maintenance and maintenance of pH electrodes. Electrode preservation solutions are used to store electrodes for long periods of time to maintain their performance and extend their lifespan, and are usually the solutions recommended by the electrode's manufacturer. The cleaning solution is used to remove dirt and sediment from the electrode surface to ensure accurate and stable measurements. The cleaning solution should be selected according to the material and usage of the electrode to avoid damage to the electrode.
A COMMON CAUSE OF INACCURATE PH MEASUREMENT IS AN INADEQUATELY CLEANED OR IMPROPERLY CLEANED ELECTRODE. This is very important to note because during calibration, the instrument assumes that the electrodes are clean and that the normalized curve generated during calibration remains a valid reference until the next calibration. The PH meter on the market today will allow for an offset Voltage of about 60mv. Deviations from 0mV are not uncommon, but the ideal value should not be greater than RL30mV.The calibration process compensates for changes in the offset Voltage.

Cleaning is a quick and effective routine that should be done regularly as a precaution against the use of dirty electrodes and to ensure that the connections are not clogged. Simply immerse the electrode in HH7061L cleaning solution for 15-20 minutes to dissolve any deposits or other coatings.
