The instrument is a new type of instrument to measure the drying time of the paint film, which can automatically and continuously display the state of each stage of the drying process in the form of depicting the linear trajectory of various coatings such as pigment and varnish applied on the surface from fluid to stable film, and can intuitively analyze the time taken in each stage.
Put the prepared paint film test plate on the test plate tray, turn on the power supply, and the motor drives the scribing needle to do uniform linear motion through the lead screw (each two of the six trays is a time, that is, 6h, 12h, 24h, and the whole process is 305mm). As the paint film gradually dries with the extension of time, the plow marks on the paint film become narrower and narrower, from deep to shallow, and finally there is no trace, thus showing the whole process of drying.
The test is carried out under the environmental conditions of 25±1°C and Relative Humidity of 65±5% evenly painted on the glass test plate, placed horizontally, away from air flow and no direct sunlight. If there are specific provisions, they shall be carried out in accordance with the specific conditions.
