QHD pendulum damping Tester is designed and manufactured according to professional standards ZBN72020 and with reference to international standards ISO1522
This instrument is used in the sampling test of pigment varnish, varnish and related products to determine the film hardness of pigment varnish varnish and related products.
(1) Konig pendulum (Konig)
1. The total mass of the pendulum: 200±0.2g
2. The swing period of the pendulum: 1.4±0.02S
3. The glass value of the pendulum: 250±10S / 178±7 times (on the polished glass, the damping time/times of the swing of the pendulum rod is displaced from 6° to 3°)
1. Working principle
The damping time of the pendulum attenuation on the paint film is expressed in seconds, and the hardness of the paint film is based on the principle that when the pendulum rod that contacts the surface of the paint film swings in a certain period, if the surface is softer, the swing attenuation will be faster, and vice versa. It is important to note that there is no conversion relationship between the results of the tests performed with Konig and Persoz pendulums with different structures, masses, dimensions and periods, because the interaction between the pendulum and the coating also depends on the complex elasticity and viscosity of the coating. Therefore, in the product standard, only one kind of pendulum is specified in the determination of the damping time of a certain paint film.
2. Instrument structure diagram
Structure: QHD pendulum damping Tester is mainly divided into the following parts.
(1) Instrument base: used to support the test plate and the pendulum rod, there is no vertical bearing rod on the seat, and is connected with the water platform with a working plane.
(2) Pendulum: Konig pendulum
(3) The technical device automatically records the number of swing angles required.
