The QEY paint film pulverization rate Tester is designed and manufactured according to the Federal Republic of Germany's DIN53159 "Determination of the chalking rate of paints and similar coatings by the Kempf method", which is suitable for laboratory testing the degree of paint film aging.
The instrument is a coating test piece loaded under specific conditions with a certain working load, and the standard plate is compared with the test piece to judge the degree of pulverization. The structure of the instrument is mainly composed of:
1. Pressing handle 2, stretching device 3, base 4, tray 5, pillar
6. Movable frame composition
1. The test piece needs to be prepared in accordance with the standard;
2. Adjust the load grade according to the conditions required by the test piece, such as:
0—50N 0—100N 0—150N
0—200N 0—250N
3. Put the test piece (coating facing up) on a plate, put it at room temperature, soak it in water for 4 minutes, and use filter paper to absorb the water (the smooth side of the photo paper is facing the surface of the coating film)
4. Hold the handle, press down to the scale value with uniform pressure, and lift the handle
5. Take out the photographic paper and compare it with the standard sample
1. The instrument should be wiped clean before and after use to avoid sliding and wearing of the tensile rod
2. The parts of each part of the instrument should not be loosened at will, so as not to affect the accuracy of the instrument
3. The wiped instrument should be placed in a ventilated and dry place
The results were compared with the standard pulverization rate grade sample, and the chalking rate grade was determined as the evaluation of the experimental results.
