




According to the national standard GB9779-88, the QKL type initial drying crack resistance testing machine is mainly suitable for the initial drying crack resistance test of architectural coatings and indoor and outdoor construction putty under the condition of specified wind speed.
1. Working principle:
The test plate frame parallel to the direction of air flow is placed in the wind tunnel, after starting the axial fan, the wind speed is controlled within 3±0.3m/s with the air volume control device, the coated test plate is placed on the test plate frame in the wind inspection tunnel, and the drying control time is adjusted according to the requirements of the product standard.
2. Structure:
The testing machine is mainly composed of axial fan, test wind tunnel, test piece holder and air volume control device, timer, anemometer, etc.
1. Operation of anemometer:
(1) Put 4 No. 1 batteries into the bottom cover of the anemometer, and insert the probe plug into the instrument jack.
(2) The power transfer switch of the dashboard is placed in the "on" position, the correction switch is placed in the "full" position, and the knobs of "full coarse adjustment" and "full degree fine adjustment" are adjusted to make the meter pointer in the full scale position.
(3) The correction switch is placed in the "zero" position, and the knob of "zero coarse adjustment" and "zero fine adjustment" is adjusted to make the meter pointer at the zero position.
(4) Repeat (2) and (3) until the alignment is reached.
2. Operation of the timer:
The delay range of this timer is 0.01 seconds - 99 hours and 99 minutes, arbitrary preset, and the middle button is the time switch.

Adjust the timer to the desired time.
Note: This work is preset before booting, and the preset key of the timer shall not be changed without authorization after booting, otherwise the timing will be invalid.
3. According to the main paint specified in the product description of the putty, the putty is coated on the surface of the prepared test plate (above the bottom coating), and then placed on the test plate frame in the wind tunnel, and the test plate is placed parallel to the direction of the air flow. This testing machine can generally place two specimens for parallel testing.
4. Turn on the power of the testing machine, the power indicator light will be on, the axial fan will start, and the timer will start timing.
5. Gently pull the probe screw plug to expose the hot ball, the red point of the probe is aligned with the wind direction, insert it into the test hole perpendicular to the wind direction, insert the depth is generally the center of the test plate, adjust the wind speed control knob, observe the anemometer pointer, so that the wind direction is adjusted within 3±0.3m/s, and the air-drying work begins.
6. When the timer reaches the preset time, the testing machine stops working, takes out the test plate, and visually inspects the surface for cracks.
