The Fineness Meter is designed according to the standard paint inspection method promulgated by the Ministry of Chemical Industry: Fineness Meter measurement method GB1724-79, which can be used to test the fineness of pigments, fillers and impurities in paints and paint pastes, expressed in microns .
Uses: Determination of particle fineness of fuel filling and impurities in paints, varnishes and inks
When using, first clean the scraper and scraper with gasoline, dry it with cotton gauze, and then wipe it off with buckskin. Use a glass stick to dip a little paint that has been mixed thoroughly (consistency in line with the product standard) to be measured and drip it into the scraper. In the deepest part of the groove, the amount of dripping should be slightly more than the appropriate amount to fill the chute. Then use the thumb, index finger and middle finger of both hands to place the scraper horizontally on the top of the scraper, so that the edge of the scraper touches the surface of the scraper vertically. From the depth of the chute Pull it to the shallow place, and immediately (within 5 seconds) observe the scale line where the particles in the tank are uniformly exposed. This value is the fineness of the particles such as pigments in the paint.
1. The surface of the scraper and the edge of the scraper must not be bumped.
2. Wash and apply anti-corrosion oil after use.
3. Regularly check the scraper and the straightness of the knife edge every year. If it does not meet the requirements, it should be repaired.
4. One box of this instrument has a built-in scraper and two scrapers.
5. This instrument is suitable for ensuring accuracy under the condition of temperature 22±1°C and Relative Humidity 70%.
