Introduction to TQC immersion Viscosity Cup

The TQC immersion Viscosity Cup is designed with a long handle on one side of the Viscosity Cup. It is very convenient to measure the viscosity of paint. You only need to immerse the Viscosity Cup into the paint with one hand, fill it with paint, and lift it up to measure the viscosity value. It can be very convenient. The viscosity value can be measured with high accuracy. This TQC immersion Viscosity Cup is made of aluminum alloy, and the filter tip is made of stainless steel. TQC immersion viscosity cup is suitable for viscosity testing of most coatings.

This TQC immersion Viscosity Cup is available in five models: VF2071, VF2072, VF2073, VF2074, VF2075, and VF2077, providing different filter diameters. The TQC immersion Viscosity Cup complies with DIN 53211 standards and is suitable for testing viscosity values ​​in coatings, inks and other industries.

Instructions

1) According to the standard, the temperature of the liquid to be tested is 23 degrees Celsius, and the temperature fluctuation needs to be minimal during the test and cannot exceed +/-0.2 degrees Celsius.

2) Adjust the temperature of the liquid to be measured if necessary.

3) Select a TQC immersion Viscosity Cup with appropriate aperture according to the specification table and the expected viscosity range of the liquid to be measured .

4) Slowly immerse the TQC immersion Viscosity Cup into the paint viscosity until the top edge of the cup can be submerged.

5) Place a thermometer into the Viscosity Cup and measure the temperature of the test sample.

6) Remove the thermometer.

7) Hook the handle ring with your fingers to keep the cup vertical. Maintaining a steady state, quickly lift the Viscosity Cup from the sample. When the TQC immersion Viscosity Cup leaves the test coating surface, the timing starts. During the liquid flow process, the Viscosity Cup should be kept above the surface of the sample, no more than 15cm.

8) Stop timing when the liquid stream breaks for the first time.

Maintenance

1. It is especially important to clean the outflow hole to remove residue and avoid scratching its inner surface.

2. Although the Viscosity Cup is designed to be sturdy, it is a precision instrument and must not be dropped or hit.

3. It needs to be cleaned after use.

4. Please use soft cloth to clean the Viscosity Cup. Do not use wire brush or sandpaper. Because this can cause long-term damage similar to that caused by corrosive cleaning agents .

5. When disassembling the cup spout, do not hit the cup spout directly. Please use the pin provided with the Viscosity Cup to hold the cup mouth, and then tap it with a heavy object (such as a paper weight).

6. Before installing the cup spout, please ensure that the cup spout and Viscosity Cup are clean.

7. When not in use, please put the TQC immersion Viscosity Cup back into the box.

8. We recommend calibration once a year.
