




MODERNERThe QXD-50 Large Wide Groove Grindometer has two scale representations, micron and Hegemann, and the overall specification is larger than that of the conventional Wide Groove Grindometer.The QXD-50 large wide groove scraper Fineness Meter has a range of 0~50 microns and a graduation value of 2.5 microns.
The QXD-50 large wide groove Grindometer is made of stainless steel, and the chute width is 50.8mm, which is larger than the general wide groove scraper Fineness Meter. It is mainly used for the detection of the fineness of pigments and pigments, and can also be used for the determination of the initial dryness of inks, which is designed in accordance with GB/T1724 standard and is equipped with a 95mm long scraper.
(1) Before use, the QXD-50 large wide groove scraper Fineness Meter should be washed and soaked with a suitable solvent, including the scraper and the bottom, and wiped dry with cotton yarn, and the sample that meets the standard viscosity index of the product should be fully stirred with a paint mixing knife.
(2) In the deepest part of the groove of the fineness scraper, drop a few drops of the test sample, so that it can fill the groove and slightly redundant.
(3) Hold the spatula with the thumb, index finger and middle finger of both hands. It is placed horizontally at the upper end of the fineness scraper, so that the scraper is perpendicular to the surface of the fineness scraper, and the scraper is pulled from the deep part of the groove to the shallow part at an appropriate speed, so that the paint sample is filled with the groove and there is no excess paint left on the flat plate.
(4) After scraping, immediately (not more than 5 seconds) pinch the fineness plate and tilt it, so that the line of sight and the plane of the trench are 15-30° to observe the scale value of the evenly exposed particles in the trench, and the reading value is the fineness value of the measured object.
