Stainless steel material, in line with GB/T 1727 standard; putty film or thick paint film; suitable for tinplate, steel plate, Aluminum Panel various substrates.

The putty scraper is designed and manufactured according to the scraping method in GB1727-89 "General Preparation Method of Paint Film". The putty scraper is suitable for uniformly preparing putty coating film and thick paint coating film on various substrates (tinplate, steel plate, aluminum plate) for the purpose of measuring the general properties of the coating film.

Structure and Principle

1. Structure:

The putty coating scraper is composed of a bottom plate, a pressure plate, a film frame and a scraper. There are four compression columns and butterfly nuts on the bottom plate, and the film is prepared after the pressure plate compresses the film frame.

2. Principle:

After fixing the standard membrane frame with a pressure plate on the bottom plate, use a scraper to scrape it from top to bottom to form a uniform putty film thickness under the thickness of the membrane plate. The standard diaphragm of the putty applicator has three different thicknesses (1±0.05, 0.7±0.035, 0.5±0.03) mm. According to the product standard requirements, the putty thickness can be selected and combined. Due to the different solid components in the paint, when the wet film becomes a dry film, the thickness of the dry film formed is also different, so this should be fully considered when choosing to use a standard thickness film frame.
