PUSHEN QHY Buchholz indentation Tester Picture

QHY Buckholz indentation Tester

For testing the pressure resistance of single or multiple coats, but not for highly elastic coatings.

The Tester consists of a steel block with 2 pivots, a sharp-edged indentation disk and a 20x microscope with scale and light source

During the test, put the indenter on the coating surface for 30 seconds to obtain the indentation, and observe the length of the indentation with a microscope and a lighting flashlight.

The indentation length is inversely proportional to the hardness. The longer the indentation is, the lower the hardness is. According to the indentation length comparison table, the coating pressure resistance can be obtained.

FAQ
QCan the QHY Buchholz Indentation Tester be used to test exterior coatings?
A Hello, exterior coatings are high resilience Coatings, and this Indentation Tester is not suitable for high resilience Coatings.
QDoes the Buchholz Indentation Tester meet the ISO 2815 standard?
A Hello, this QHY Buchholz Indentation Tester conforms to GB/T9275 and ISO2815 standards.
QWhat does the Buchholz Indentation Tester say about the test results?
A Hello, observe the length of the Indentation through the matching Microscope and lighting flashlight. The length of the Indentation is inversely proportional to the hardness. The longer the Indentation, the lower the hardness. The comparison table of the length of the Indentation can be used to obtain the pressure resistance of the coating.
QIs this Buchholz indentation tester compliant with ISO 1520?
A The Buchholz indentation tester is suitable for ISO1520, please consult customer service for detailed application definition
