Principle

QHY Buckholtz indentation Tester is used to measure the hardness of paint film by indentation test method. The test apparatus consists of a steel block with 2 fulcrums, a constant test load of 500g, a sharp-edged circular indentation disk and a 20x microscope with a 0.1mm scale and a built-in light source. During the test, place the Tester of the QHY Buckholz indentation Tester on the coating surface for 30 seconds to obtain an indentation, observe it with a microscope and a built-in light source, and the length of the indentation is inversely proportional to the hardness.
