PHASE II SRG-2000 Portable Surface Roughness Tester Picture

The PHASE II portable roughness Tester SRG-2000 is a pocket-sized, cost-effective instrument for measuring the surface roughness of workpieces and complies with the applicable standards. It can be used on different workpiece surfaces in the workshop, either horizontally or vertically.

The roughness values to be measured can be displayed sequentially on the large LCD screen at the touch of a button: Ra, Rz, Rms(Rq), Rt, and the sampling length can also be selected. The calibration method also allows the instrument to be calibrated on a standard sample that is carried with it. A beep is heard every time the measurement interface is prepared.

The easy-to-use SRG-2000 is capable of measuring roughness values on a wide range of surfaces: flat, cylindrical, cone, and grooved floors (grooves can be as long as they are 80x30 mm). It is suitable for quality inspection department, quality control department, processing workshop, assembly workshop and so on.

The SRG-2000 Surface Roughness Tester has a wide measurement range for measuring roughness values: Ra, Rz, Rms(Rq), Rt. The piezoelectric sensor with diamond stylus ensures that the measured values are stable and reliable, and the surface roughness parameter Ra values in accordance with ASME B46.1 are also in accordance with ISO standards. The Rz value complies with the relevant DIN standards.

Surface Roughness Meter Measurement Guide The purpose of surface roughness is to be the result of some machining processes and their effects on the surface of the material involved.
The sliding surface roughness gauge is a common instrument in the workshop. The diamond stylus glides over the sample block and the piezoelectric sensor records the vertical movement. The recorded peaks and troughs are converted into established parameter values.
The roughness parameter varies depending on how the peak and trough values are reached. When measuring roughness, the commonly used parameter is "Ra", which is often defined as the arithmetic mean roughness. The Ra parameter is an easy-to-use, valid parameter, and there are many other parameters that are more specific and effective depending on the application requirements. It is with these parameters that we are able to define the surface roughness.
Now, in order to detect Ra parameter values, a portable hand-held surface roughness Tester is used, which is not only inexpensive and economical, but also digitally displayed and easy to operate. The surface roughness Tester is a required instrument for those factories that have Ra value testing requirements.

FAQ
QIs the price listed on the website the final cost for overseas purchases?
ANo, it isn't. This is the ex-factory price of the product in the Chinese Mainland. In addition to this price, buyers from different countries need to account for additional costs such as shipping fees, tariffs, and others. For specific regional quotes, please consult our customer service or fill out a quotation form.
QWhat is the specific process for purchasing the product?
AFirst, please click on the quotation form on the website and fill in detailed information. Our customer service personnel will then send you a quotation based on your specific country and region, confirming payment and delivery methods. Following this, we proceed with contract signing, payment, and shipment. You can then await delivery.
QWhat should I do if the instrument I purchase needs repair?
AAfter-sales repair for overseas instruments is an unavoidable issue. Our repair terms stipulate that the sender is responsible for the shipping and insurance costs incurred for the repair. Repairs within the warranty period are free, while repair costs beyond the warranty period are determined based on the actual situation.
