MODERNER KSM-2 open-type small sand mill is a test equipment used for crushing tests of paints, inks, dyes, coatings, magnetic tape coatings, etc. Suitable for use in laboratories in paint, dye, chemical and other industries. The linear speed of the blisk of the KSM-2 open small sand mill can reach 10.5 meters per second, which causes the materials in the cylinder to violently turn up and down, and generates strong impact and shear with the grinding media, causing the aggregated objects to be destroyed, reaching The purpose of rapid dispersion and uniform mixing.

The outer diameter of the cylinder is ï125Ã285mm, and the inner diameter is ï100Ã245mm. It is made of stainless steel seamless steel pipes and is welded together. There is a jacket in the middle to allow cooling water to pass through. There is a filter at the discharge port. When the filter is damaged, the waist flange can be removed and replaced. The material of the discharge plug is polytetrafluoroethylene, which is more durable. The upper cover of the cylinder is of split type and is always closed when it is not in use or when it is started.
The Total length of the main shaft is 265mm. The material is 45# steel and the surface is hard chromium plated. The lower end of the shaft is equipped with a blisk and is locked with bolts. When the blisk is worn, it can be replaced.
1. Before using the KSM-2 open-type small sand mill, the cylinder should be effectively cleaned with solvent, the cylinder should be clamped by turning the handwheel firmly against the positioning plate, and the discharge plug should be closed tightly.
2. Raise the motor to the highest position and install the shaft on the drill chuck. Make sure that the shoulder end of the shaft is flush with the end of the drill chuck and tighten. Then rotate the shaft by hand to check whether it is properly aligned and installed. Otherwise, remove and reinstall it. (Remember not to drive empty).
3. Lower the motor to the required height, tighten the brake handle, and turn on the cooling water.
4. Set the timer to the required time, and set it to the "ON" position from time to time.
5. Pour the medium (glass beads) into the cylinder, and then pour the material. Turn the axle by hand and drive. If you find the axle is shaking after driving, stop the vehicle immediately. (Indicates that the axis center is incorrect and the axis needs to be re-aligned)
1. When there is no material in the cylinder, remember not to drive the machine empty. The axle is prone to twisting when empty.
2. After the shaft is installed, tighten the precision self-tightening rolling head to prevent the shaft from loosening after driving.
3. When turning the knob to the extreme position, do not turn it too fast or too hard to avoid damaging the parts.
4. If less time is needed for timing and the knob rotation angle is less than 45°, the knob should be rotated through 45° and then screwed back to the required timing position.
5. The cooling water should be kept flowing smoothly, and it is better to add a regulating valve to control the cooling water volume.
6. When the KSM-2 open-type small sand mill is stopped, the cylinder and discharge plug should be cleaned with solvent. This will prevent the discharge plug from being stuck during next use.
