Introduction

The adjustable Film Applicator is suitable for coating a specific thickness of wet film on a flat substrate, and is suitable for manual coating of high concentration and high viscosity coating ink on a solid and flat substrate, and the extended edge enables the adjustable Film Applicator to retract the paint during the coating process, reducing waste, saving costs, and having good wear resistance.

Procedure

First, willKTQ-II/25203 Adjustable Film ApplicatorPlace on a flat surface of the test substrate and adjust the blade to the desired clearance (approximately twice the desired wet film thickness)

Second, in the front section of the coating knife of the adjustable Film Applicator, a small amount of test sample is poured at a slow and uniform speed (1~2cm/s) between the end plates.

Third, move the KTQ-II/25203 adjustable applicator until the paint is fully applied and any remaining paint has been removed from the end of the coating path.

Fourth, the actual wet film should be measured with a wet Film Thickness Gauge and the gap adjusted until the desired wet film thickness is reached.

Maintenance measures

2. The two ends of the scraper move in the groove, and the groove needs to be kept at all times without testing the sample material.

3. The differentiator needs to be repositioned occasionally to correct for wear or misalignment. This can be adjusted by loosening, rather than removing, the two hidden set screws of each differentiator, allowing the assembly to be lowered or raised.
