QHow to choose the rotor and speed?
A Hello, a better way to choose a rotor vs. RPM is by trial and error. Adjust to make the Viscometer's percentile scale between 20% and 90% or between 10% and 90% (subject to the instrument alarm limit). When the percentile scale is within this range, the measurement accuracy can be guaranteed. If the percentile scale exceeds 90%, choose a slower RPM or a smaller rotor. Conversely, if the percentile scale is less than 10% or 20%, choose a higher RPM or a larger rotor.
