GB/T 42544-2023 "Evaluation of corrosion of anodic oxide coatings and organic polymer films of aluminum and aluminum alloys, grid method" stipulates the method for evaluating the corrosion results of anodic oxide coatings and organic polymer films of aluminum and aluminum alloys by grid method. This method is applicable to the corrosion grade evaluation of corrosion specimens and service samples. The corrosion grade is determined by covering the surface of the sample with a transparent grid plate to evaluate the size and distribution of corrosion defects. The standard was proposed by the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association and centralized by the National Nonferrous Metals Standardization Technical Committee. It was issued on May 23, 2023 and officially implemented on December 1, 2023.
