This part specifies the filter membrane foster test method for the total number of bacteria (live bacteria) in electronic grade water, which is applicable to EW-I~ EW-IN grade electronic grade water. The method is to filter the water sample through a 0.45 μm microporous membrane and intercept it on the filter membrane, then stick it on the filter paper containing TGY foster group to foster, observe the colonies formed by bacteria, and use the reaction of dehydrogenase and T.T.C to make the bacteria red, so as to count the total number of bacteria.
