The DB 44/T 874-2011 standard specifies the technical requirements for coatings for automotive interior parts. The standard describes in detail the types of coatings used for automotive interior parts, performance requirements, test methods and quality control. Coatings need to have excellent high temperature resistance, friction resistance, chemical resistance and UV resistance to meet the durability and aesthetic requirements of automotive interior parts in long-term use. At the same time, Coatings need to have good adhesion and Color Stability to ensure the appearance and use effect of automotive interior parts. The standard provides a normative basis for automobile manufacturers and coating manufacturers to help improve the mass of interior coatings and ensure compliance with safety, environmental protection and market demand.
