The BS 3900-C1-1965 (R2008) standard specifies a method for the determination of wet side time in tests related to Coating film formation. The standard describes a procedure for determining whether the edge of a Coating or related material remains "active" after a specific drying time after it has been coated on an appropriate surface. Wet side time is also known as "lap time", "live edge time" and "curing time" in the Coating industry. This parameter is essential for evaluating the construction performance and drying characteristics of Coatings.
