The JJG 2069-2005 standard specifies a verification system for mirror-to-gloss Measurement instruments. This standard is applicable to the national transmission system of gloss Measurement, establishing the Measurement characteristics, quantity value transfer relationships and capabilities from Measurement reference to all levels of Measurement instruments. Measurement reference includes gloss reference device and gloss reference plate. The use of light reflection principle and refractive index circumstantial method ensures the accurate reproduction of the unit value of gloss. The angle theta can be changed to 85 °. The range of reoccurring values of gloss reference is 70.0~ 110.0 Gloss units, and the uncertainty is U ≤ 0.7 Gloss units. The metrology standard consists of a standard Glossiness Meter and a standard plate set, covering a gloss value range of 10.0120.0 Gloss units with an uncertainty of U ≤ 1.0 Gloss units. The standard Glossiness Meter measurement range is 0.0150.0 Gloss units with an error of indication of +/- 1.0 Gloss units.
