The HB 5367.5-1986 standard specifies the test method for Shore hardness of carbon graphite sealing materials in detail. It is suitable for measuring the rebound hardness of carbon graphite sealing materials at room temperature, using the Shore hardness gauge for testing. The standard describes the preparation of the sample, the test steps and the calculation of the results. The surface accuracy of the sample is not less than 3.2 μm, and the minimum film thickness of the sample is 5mm. It provides a standardized operation process for the hardness detection of carbon graphite sealing materials.
