The BS EN IEC 60068-2-11-2021 standard specifies the test method for corrosion resistance of components, equipment and materials of electrical products in a salt fog environment. This test is designed to verify that metallic materials retain their mass under salt fog exposure, with or without corrosion protection. It is suitable for evaluating the coating mass and uniformity to protect metals from corrosion.
