This standard describes methods for accelerated aging of asphalt using high temperatures and compressed air. The purpose of the test is to simulate the oxidation aging process of asphalt in actual road use to evaluate its anti-aging ability. The samples used in the test are residues obtained by the asphalt swirl/spin film oven test method. This standard is suitable for evaluating the anti-aging ability of different asphalts, but does not cover the influence of mixture factors or actual use conditions.
