This standard specifies methods for the determination of formaldehyde content in cultivated and wild dried and fresh shiitake mushrooms. It is suitable for the detection process of formaldehyde distillation dissolved in water to form yellow compounds and the measurement of their Absorbance under neutral conditions. The detection limit is 0.1 mg/kg.
