This standard specifies a sampling method for pulp samples for viscose fibres. It applies to all performance tests and sampling for mass determination of various pulps for viscose fibres. Samples obtained by the mass determination sampling method for sale can be used for all performance tests for pulp for viscose fibres. Definitions of some related terms are also given in the standard, for example "batch" means an aggregate of pulp of the same variety and grade for viscose fibres, and "sample" means a certain amount of whole pulp taken from the sample pulp.
