This standard describes two methods for determining the dispersion performance of pigments in polyethylene (PE), as well as methods for Color performance. Method A is suitable for powdered organic and carbon black pigments, inorganic powdered pigments, and powdered or flake pigment preparations, while Method B is suitable for granular pigments and pigment preparations, as well as any form of inorganic pigment. By measuring the Carr Dispersibility of pigments in polyethylene (PE), the dispersion effect of pigments under specific conditions can be evaluated. The standard also provides methods for preparing mixed tablets and specifies procedures for testing using a two-roll machine. In addition to describing the test method, the standard also refers to Miscellaneous necessary standard documents, such as Color Measuring method, Chromadizing pigment relative tinting strength and white pigment relative scattering force determination method.
