This standard specifies the terminology, test methods and technical requirements used for the control of the production process of offset printing plates. The scope of application includes the metal PS plate, and applies to vacuum printers, continuous printers and automatic developers in contact with exposure. It does not apply to Optical inspection projection and direct writing plate making, although the principle is similar; nor does it apply to FM screen, although the characteristics of its order adjustment value can be applied analogously. The reference standard includes Geometry conditions for photographic transmission density measurement, Light spectrum conditions for density measurement, etc. The terms PS plate, exposure, exposure process, exposure latitude, etc. are defined, and the corresponding Measurement units are given.
