This standard specifies the test method of ultraviolet fluorescence of anaerobic adhesives for aviation use, including equipment and materials, test conditions, test procedures, treatment of test results and test reports. It is suitable for the determination of ultraviolet fluorescence of uncoalescence anaerobic adhesives. The standard cites GB 686 standard for chemical reagents for acetone. The test conditions include environmental temperature and Humidity conditions. The test procedure requires that the surface preparation of the steel test piece is dripped with an anaerobic glue sample and placed under a UV lamp to observe whether it emits fluorescence. The test results consider that if the surface of the anaerobic glue emits fluorescence under UV Lamp irradiation, it is qualified.
