This standard specifies two methods for measuring the resistance of fabrics to organic solvents, namely static method and dynamic method, which are suitable for coating fabrics, coating dyeing and printing fabrics of various base fabrics. According to the standard, the samples are soaked in organic solvents at room temperature. After a certain period of time, the discoloration of the samples is assessed with a gray sample card for evaluating discoloration, and the changes in the appearance of the samples are observed. Equipment and materials include triangular flasks, stopwatches, forceps pliers and a variety of organic solvents. Choose the appropriate organic solvent according to the purpose of the sample.
