This specification covers requirements, inspection methods, mass assurance requirements, and preparation for delivery of silver and silver palladium terminal electrode pastes for multi-layer ceramic capacitors (MLC). It applies to MLC terminal electrode pastes manufactured from a series of porcelain pastes with silver and silver palladium inner electrodes and medium and high temperature sintering of porcelain media. The pastes are divided into two categories: silver terminal electrodes and silver palladium terminal electrodes, and each category is divided into two types: plated and solderable.
