This standard specifies the method for the determination of light transmitance of diesel locomotive hydraulic transmission oil. It is applicable to the analysis of diesel locomotive hydraulic transmission oil in use and also to the determination of light transmitance of new hydraulic transmission oil. Defines the calculation method of light transmitance. It is required to use spectrophotometer with visible light Wavelength range and electric Centrifuge for experiments. The operation steps include pouring the test oil into a centrifugal testtube, removing impurities by centrifugal separation, and using spectrophotometer measurement light transmitance.
