This standard applies to the quantitative analysis of lubricating oils in use using automated 4-in-1 testers, including atomic emission spectroscopy (AES), infrared Light spectrum, viscosity and laser particle counters. It covers lubricating oils with ISO viscosity grades ranging from 10mm ²/s to 320mm ²/s for the analysis of oil abrasion and contamination trends, but the results may differ from the Miscellaneous test method. Not applicable to crude oil analysis. The normative reference document lists the necessary documents, including petroleum product viscosity measurement, viscosity index calculation, liquid sampling method, etc. Appropriate safety and protective measures need to be ensured before use.
